Thanks to everyone for coming last night to Ted's. The night was a huge success: we packed the bar, and Mike Horn and the Method and The Raging Bonheures gave an incredible performance. Mike went all out, he played all of the songs to be released on the album, as well as two covers which were real crowd pleasers and had them singing along and dancing (i.e. "Demons"). Guitarist, Spencer Gallop, gave impressive solos throughout the night.
Ynkoherent performed at the Human Rights Awareness Festival at UConn yesterday as well and gave the audience a short but sweet performance that really got the crowd on their feet and gave them a taste of original, catchy latin music. There was a decent sized turnout and passerby's were stopping to watch. Thanks to John Corkery for making this festival a great success.
Pictures and more summer performances will be posted soon so keep checking us out!
Between the Borders will be in stores very very very soon!! To pre-order the album e-mail Molly Sardella, Assistant Vice President.

Third Day of Recording for Mike Horn's Upcoming Album
From Mike Horn's blogs:
I don't know what made me think I could sing 10 songs in one day but I was completely off. Today we recorded all lead vocals, doubling(s), and vocal harmonies for We Can Try, Pretty Mind, It All Kicks In, Should've Been Looking for Love, and In Store - where I was basically sucking in every last ounce of oxygen that I could find in my vocal booth. My voice is basically shot and I'm exhausted but I'll be back in tomorrow at 11am to finish the rest of the songs and the album as a whole. I guess that means just one more day of Decaf Tea w/ honey and no dairy products. The first thing I plan on doing tomorrow after I leave the studio is eating a pack of cheese and downing it with some milk. Mmm...

Second Day of Recording for Mike Horn's Upcoming Album
From Mike Horn's blogs:
Day 2 in the studio was even more exciting than the first. We did all the guitars and keyboards for every song. It was really incredible to see the songs coming along. Once we got the first 9 songs out of the way, I did The Only One to Blame, which we decided last minute should be done solo. The studio consists of a lot of concentration, excitement, and frustration which makes it not always so easy to get the song down exactly how we want it to sound. Pete and "King" Adam did a great job yesterday of getting us through the songs as they were extremely patient. Day 3 in the studio will be on Tuesday where I'm set to lay down all the vocals for every song and then the mixing process begin.

First Day of Recording for Mike Horn's Upcoming Album
From Mike Horn's blogs:
So today was my first day in the studio to record the upcoming album, "Between the Borders". It was a fairly interesting day as Adam [Rosenfeld] and I kicked off the day with some Friendly's French Toast and we went to Onyx Soundlab thinking that we'd be there from noon until 8-9pm but we completely banged out drums and bass and finished by 4. Spencer, Pennarola, and myself will be headed back into the studio this Saturday the 24th to lay down all the guitars and keyboards. On Tuesday the 27th, I'll be laying down all the vocals and then the mixing process will begin.
